The Indiana Corn Marketing Council will meet on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Indiana Corn office located at 5730 West 74th street, Indianapolis, In 46278. The Indiana Corn Marketing Council works to promote the interest of corn growers in the state and manage corn checkoff funds. The Council is composed of 17 producer directors and 10 appointed farmer, industry and government representatives. |

Attention Growers! Corn Yield Contest Early-Entry Deadline July 1 |

The early-entry deadline for the popular National Corn Yield Contest is next week – Wednesday, July 1 – the National Corn Growers Association reminds growers. Entries submitted after this date, but before the final Aug. 1 deadline, will cost growers more per hybrid entered. The popular program is now in its 45th year and had more than 6,700 entrants in 2008. |
