Best management practices are the keys to a successful farming operation, and corn farmers are at the forefront of making sure their farms are as productive as possible with less cost to the environment and their own farm operation.

ICMC supports on-farm research and tools that help corn farmers maximize their farms' performance, including research into new traits.  The goal is to develop methods and tools that enhance yield and composition and new ways to control pests and manage diseases, all while producing corn in a sustainable, environmentally acceptable manner.

ICMC is also a partner in the INfield Advantage (formerly On-Farm Network) – a program that focuses on technology to collect user-specific information from farm test plots around the state.
