Statement from Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council on the “Promoting the Good Works of Indiana Agriculture” competition announcement on March 24, 2014
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) congratulate the student team from Huntington University for their first place finish in Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann’s “Promoting the Good Works of Agriculture” competition. ISA and ICMC are proud to be partners with the Lt. Governor, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture and other Indiana agricultural entities to support this competition.
The Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) will hold a board of directors meeting March 24-25, 2014 at the ICMC office located at 5730 West 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46278. The meeting will be called to order at 1 pm on March 24 and will recess at 5 pm, it will be called back to order at 8 am March 25. The Indiana Corn Marketing Council works to promote the interest of corn growers in the state and manage corn checkoff funds. The Council is composed of 17 voting farmer directors and 8 appointed industry and government representatives.
